Équations Différentielles Ordinaires

L3 course, Université Paul Sabatier, FSI, Département de Mathématiques, 2022

A course for students in their third year of the math degree. We start introducing some existence and uniquenes results together with some notable examples and solving techniques for first order ODEs. After that they learn about systems of ODEs, exponentiation of matrices and eigenvalues & eigenvectors methods. We finish the course discussing some famous problems like the predator-prey model or the pendulum system.

Équations aux Dérivées Partielles

Master 1 course, Université Paul Sabatier, FSI, Département de Mathématiques, 2022

A course for students in their first year of the Master. They learn about the numerical methods used in the study of Poisson’s equation, the Heat Equation or the Transport Equation, with spetial attention payed to the theoretical justifiation of each numerical method.

Méthodes Numériques pour les EDPs (2022, 2023)

Master 1 course, Université Paul Sabatier, FSI, Département de Mathématiques, 2023

A course for students in their first year of the Master. They learn about Sobolev spaces, distributions, weak solutions, Lax-Milgram’s Theorem applied to second order linear elliptic equations both from a numerical and a thoeretical point of view.
